Kathryn Lehnerer serves as an Analyst in Insite’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). In this role, she applies her background in international criminology, law and diplomacy to identify and assess emerging threats that are targeting Insite’s clients. Ms Lehnerer evaluates disruptions to client business operations, assets, and workforce using a sophisticated array of intelligence tools to filter open-source intelligence (OSINT) and based on her findings she provides actionable mitigating steps to clients based on established communications protocols.
Prior to joining Insite, Ms Lehnerer served as a researcher at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) where she received a Global Diplomacy Initiative Fellowship and delivered an in-depth study on how weaponized artificial intelligence poses significant threats to international peace and security.
Ms Lehnerer holds a M.S. in International Crimes and Justice from John Jay College where she holds an Advanced Certificate in Transnational Organized Crime Studies. She received a B.S in Criminology, Law, and Society with Magna Cum Laude from University of California, Irvine.
