PHYSICAL SECURITY CONSULTANT
Insite Risk Management delivers bespoke, ongoing physical security programs to both enterprise and private clients. The Consultant functions as the Chief Security Officer or Security Lead for each client in their portfolio, starting with the initial assessment and proposal delivery and continuing through the development and implementation – in partnership with client stakeholders – of customized security solutions.

The Consultant works closely with the consulting team to share best practices, lend assistance, and benefit from one another’s diverse areas of expertise. Additionally, the Consultant interacts closely with other Insite business units including Investigations, Intelligence, Global Security Operations, Protection, and Security Technology. Most importantly, the Consultant is a relationship manager who constantly considers the needs, preferences and perspectives of each client and addresses them by leveraging the breadth of Insite’s services and capabilities.
The successful candidate has a track record of working directly and successfully with stakeholders to develop and implement physical security programs. They combine the skills of effective client communication and program management with a broad knowledge of physical security and deeper expertise in one or several security domains.

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days in the Insite corporate office, located in Midtown, New York City.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the full life cycle of a client engagement, ensuring client expectations are met, scope changes are addressed and documented, and deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget

Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for each client, factoring in their unique circumstances, available Insite resources, and financial viability

Manage client relationships in a manner that builds confidence and trust in the delivery of Insite solutions, and maximizes strategic growth in accordance with client needs, concerns, and preferences

Contribute to the development of proposals, including scoping and pricing, to address identified vulnerabilities and expressed concerns
-
Assess client physical security measures including technology, personnel and policies; emergency plans and procedures; fire life-safety; executive protection; protective intelligence; threat management; travel risk; training; and other areas

Identify program requirements and leverage Insite resources to develop, deliver and manage physical security solutions
-
Produce clear, actionable documentation, including assessment reports, travel risk analyses, security policies and procedures, emergency response and crisis management plans, and trainings

Present materials and findings in a compelling manner to senior client stakeholders and/or internal leadership

Stay current on evolving trends and emerging technologies, conduct security benchmarking studies, and seek opportunities to build knowledge and share new information and resources internally and with clients

Maintain a close relationship with other Insite business units, constantly exploring opportunities to improve service and value to clients and ensuring that Insite services are delivered in a seamless, cohesive manner

Track resource utilization and oversee accurate administration and invoicing in support of assigned client programs

Perform special duties assigned by senior management
Required Skills and Experience

BA/BS required; MA preferred
-
Minimum of five to seven years of security risk management experience as a member of a large security department, as a security consultant, or in an applicable military or law enforcement position

Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing a physical security program, or major components thereof, for high-value corporate or high-net-worth residential clients
-
Solid knowledge base across physical security domains including: security program design, implementation, and management; security technology; threat assessment and management; protective intelligence, executive protection; event security; global security operations; travel security; emergency and critical event planning and response; and security training
-
Deep expertise in one or several physical security domains. Hands-on familiarity with leading security technologies for access control, video management, intrusion detection, etc. a major plus

Strong analytical skills for assessing risk, vulnerability and threats

Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; proficiency in presenting to clients and other stakeholders; strong attention to detail

Strong business acumen and strategic development mindset

Demonstrated experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating with industry-adjacent services and trades

Successful management of highly confidential information

Demonstrated track record of remaining organized and motivated while balancing and prioritizing multiple projects and objectives and meeting tight deadlines

Highly proficient in MS Office software; Smartsheet proficiency a plus

Ability to travel 10% within the United States to conduct risk assessments, attend trainings or conferences, or support special events

GLOBAL SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTER (​GSOC) MANAGER
The GSOC Manager is responsible for supervising threat detection and reporting, incident response, travel risk management, and protective intelligence workstreams in our 24/7 security operations center. The person in this position aligns daily operations with company standards while managing the team of GSOC analysts working around the clock. Importantly, they work with key internal and external stakeholders on strategic items that align with the company’s long-term vision of continued improvement and offering best-in-class GSOC services.

The GSOC Manager must be a highly motivated individual who has experience working in a protective intelligence capacity OR has management experience in a security operations center environment The ideal candidate has strong analytical and writing skills, and is a team player who is able to work hand in hand with a team of subject matter experts drawn from the law enforcement, intelligence, legal and management consulting communities.

This position is in-person and located in midtown Manhattan.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a team of analysts, providing individualized feedback and support as needed to promote success of the analysts and the wider team.

Act in a dual capacity as needed, capable of accomplishing the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the analyst role and offering coverage, when needed, while also accomplishing the administrative responsibilities of managing a team of analysts.

Oversee the collection and analysis of global events, open-source intelligence, and specialized intelligence platforms to identify and mitigate threatening activities against clients' offices, special events, operations, assets, and personnel.

Act as the initial escalation point for situations of uncertainty and a decision-maker aligned with the operational and business goals of the impacted client(s).

Provide ongoing intelligence support to the organization's security operations, and accurate tracking of travelers, meetings, and events globally.

Implement processes for incident and crisis management alongside other key stakeholders and functions.
-
Provide ongoing emergency response support in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Execute routine and emergency communications, as directed.

Maintain the scheduling, achieving 24/7/365 coverage over holidays, sick days, and analyst vacations.

Maintain a consistent roster of analysts, recruiting to backfill positions for those who are departing the role.​

Explore new tools in the intelligence space and assist in rolling these out to the team when onboarded.

Work collaboratively to tailor policies and procedures and seek opportunities to improve existing systems.

Implement and audit training programs for analysts to ensure effective communication for all responsibilities and understanding of any changes to operating procedures.

GSOC ANALYST
We are seeking analysts experienced in a GSOC environment to join our growing team.
This is not an IT/cybersecurity position.
This role will require using intelligence tools and OSINT research to identify emerging threats to client assets and personnel and provide timely notification in accordance with company SOPs. Preferred candidates are expected to have demonstrated experience in OSINT analysis, be highly organized, have strong writing skills, and be interested in current physical security issues and trends.
Positions are in-person and located in midtown Manhattan.
Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree required; International Relations, Political Science, History, English, Communications or related field (not cybersecurity)

1-3 years of experience in GSOC Operations, Intelligence, Investigations/Due Diligence, Risk Management, or another research heavy position; OR equivalent academic experience.
