Mr. DeSousa identifies physical and reputational threats across the surface, deep, and dark web and helps Insite’s clients understand the real dangers posed to them by the proliferation of online information. Utilizing an array of sophisticated platforms to support his detailed research and analysis, Mr. DeSousa delivers actionable intelligence and guidance when he detects a bonafide threat. He authors ad-hoc and recurring intelligence reports covering persons of interest, social media analyses, leaked credentials, and other relevant information tailored to the specific needs of each client. Additionally, Mr. DeSousa leads innovation at Insite’s Intelligence Group, assessing longer-term security issues and trends. He constantly monitors data providers and the risk landscape, regularly implementing new services and capabilities to ensure Insite provides leading edge intelligence services to its corporate and private clients.
Prior to joining Insite, Mr. DeSousa served as Lead Intelligence Analyst for a global pharmaceutical company where he assessed and reported on threats related to terrorism, natural disasters, crime trends, and international politics. He holds a BA in Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Haverford College and studied policy analysis and migration issues at Humboldt University in Berlin.
