David Morgenstern, CPP Joins Insite

As Executive Director of Consulting, David Morgenstern, CPP oversees the management of client relationships and delivery of customized security solutions related to Insite’s integrated enterprise security programs. He supervises a team of seasoned security consultants, providing strategic direction to deliver a highly customized best-in-class experience to each client. He is responsible for ensuring the continuous advancement and improvement of Insite’s services to our corporate clientele and associated individuals.

Prior to joining Insite, Mr. Morgenstern served as a senior security advisor to ultra-high-net-worth families and multinational corporations at one of the nation’s top security and consulting firms. He met with principals and key stakeholders to understand their unique needs, recommend risk mitigations, and build and maintain relationships. He also led teams to develop solutions in protective intelligence, geopolitical risk, executive protection training, security technology, global operations, investigations, and critical event management.

Mr. Morgenstern held the rank of Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He deployed twice to Helmand Province, Afghanistan where he served as Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Officer-In-Charge for 4,000 Marines across 10 bases and airfields, and was decorated for enhancing security in a highly kinetic combat environment.

Mr. Morgenstern has published numerous security and defense articles and serves on several industry boards. He holds a Master’s degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, and is an ASIS Certified Protection Professional.
