Ameen Karim applies his expertise in open-source intelligence and international security to his role as Senior Analyst at Insite’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). He identifies threats and disruptions happening globally that may have an impact on clients’ personnel, assets, or operations. Using established escalation protocols that are specific for each client, Mr. Karim authors alerts and advisories to help clients manage threatening situations. He also supports threat investigations and investigative monitoring involving employee misconduct that could potentially affect Insite’s clients.
Prior to joining Insite, Mr. Karim served as an Open-Source Intelligence Analyst where he supported GSOC operations for a global technology company by developing concise risk assessments and investigating kinetic threats and reputational risks to executives, employees, and assets. Prior to that he was a Congressional intern for the U.S. House of Representatives where he assisted in processing constituent immigration cases. Fluent in Dari and Farsi, Mr. Karim holds a M.A. in in International Security Studies and a B.A. in Government and International Politics from George Mason University.
