Insite uses a holistic approach when considering the interconnected factors of family security and safety. We look at the family’s public profile and daily movements, travel patterns, employees, school and work schedules, residential environments and assets. Our goal in a residential security survey is to create a security profile that reflects how the relevant factors impact each other, then look at existing security programs and assess their vulnerabilities. During a residential security survey, we will review electronic security systems, emergency/evacuation plans, access to the home, household staff or regular third-party vendors and family travel. We will also review details of past crimes in the area and any unsolicited contacts with the family to accurately determine a family’s risk profile. The outcome is a set of workable recommendations and a highly collaborative discussion to set priorities that will heighten family security and mesh with their lifestyle.
